The Great in Every Girl

Since 1985, Pace has been a leading advocate, providing programs that help girls and young women thrive. Beginning as only one center in Jacksonville, Florida, Pace has successfully grown to serve girls in 23 locations in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. As the organization expanded its presence and brand to go national, they needed support to revitalize and standardize their creative materials across centers. I collaborated with them as their lead creative consult and designer to develop impact reports, refreshed brand guidelines, monthly social media content, and a total refresh of their website.

My Approach

  • Contributed to a robust research and discovery phase which uncovered persistent trends, such as a lack of consistency in brand materials between the national office and local centers.

  • Generated strategic recommendations on how to streamline communications across centers, through refreshed brand guidelines, website updates, and unified social media channels.

  • Quickly implemented designs, tailored by client feedback and discussion, into high-quality outputs that were shared out to 23+ centers.

The Outcome

The 2021 Impact Report positioned Pace’s CEO, Mary Marx, as a critical thought leader, landing coverage in national outlets such as Philanthropy News Digest, Ms. Magazine and a profile in Scripps Media’s The Race, which aired on 61 television stations in 41 markets. The Pace team was so thrilled with the design, strategy, and reception of the 2021 Impact Report, that they renewed and expanded our work together. The refreshed website continues to serve Pace to this day.
